Google adds name pronunciation feature in Workspace Emails

Google Workspace has introduced a new feature that makes it easy for users to record and share their name pronunciation within email profiles.

To use the feature, navigate to your settings, access profile information, and select the ‘Name Pronunciation’ option. Then record and attach your name’s pronunciation to your profile.

Once you have added your pronunciation, others can easily listen to it. The pronunciation audio will be available beside your name on the profile card.

For this feature to be visible in your Google Workplace emails, the administrator must enable the option to allow users to edit profile information.

This feature is not currently available in Google Workspace for Education accounts.
